Lyric’s A Christmas Carol (2021)

Closing the year, Oklahoma’s favorite holiday tradition, Lyric’s A Christmas Carol, returns for its 11th year – November 17 to December 23. In Charles Dickens’ timeless tale, three magical ghosts whisk the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge away on an unforgettable adventure of transformation and redemption. Jacob Marley, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, The Fezziwigs and a host of unforgettable characters spring to life in Lyric’s spectacular production sparking the holiday spirit in audiences of all ages. You’ll go from humbug to happy in one magical night under the stars. As featured in The New York Times and BBC News. Co-directed by Lyric’s Producing Artistic Director Michael Baron and Exective Producer Ashley Wells, the immersive production returns for its second year at the historic Harn Homestead.

***All performances will be held OUTDOORS. The venue does not have seating and requires patrons to walk from scene to scene during the 75-minute production.***

Inclement Weather Policy

While many people may dream of a “White Christmas,” we understand that inclement weather can put a damper on outdoor activities. As a result, the start time for Lyric’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Harn Homestead may be delayed/canceled or the performance interrupted due to weather conditions. Lyric representatives will review weather conditions daily, and any delays or cancellations will be announced on the Lyric website and the official Lyric Theatre Facebook page. Lyric may hold the start of the show for 30 to 45 minutes after the scheduled start time to allow for inclement weather. There will be no refunds or exchanges if Lyric does not officially cancel the show. It is our desire to share this holiday tradition with you and your family and friends, and we’re thankful for your understanding if we are forced to adjust a performance for safety reasons or weather.

Arrive early and enjoy your favorite beverages and treats!
