Lyric Theatre is dedicated to providing a comfortable and enjoyable theatre experience for individuals in need of special accommodation.

Accessible Parking

Handicapped parking is conveniently located near the entrances to both the Plaza Theatre and Civic Center Music Hall.  At the Plaza Theatre, patrons will find designated handicapped parking spaces along NW 16 Street and in Lyric’s small parking lot directly across the street from the Plaza Theatre. At the Civic Center, handicapped spaces are marked along the perimeter of the building, along Couch and Colcord drives.

Wheelchair Seating

Wheelchair seating is available at both the Plaza Theatre and Civic Center Music Hall.  Specific handicapped seating locations are noted on each website’s respective ticket-buying page.

Sign Language Interpreted Performances

Lyric Theatre offers an American Sign Language interpreted performance of each mainstage production at both the Plaza Theatre and Civic Center Music Hall.  At the Plaza, the second Saturday matinee of each performance is designated as ASL-Interpreted, with our dedicated interpreters stationed house right. At the Civic, ASL-Interpreted performances occur during the Saturday matinee of our one-week show runs. Interpreters are stationed house left.

Assisted Listening Devices

Both Lyric’s Plaza Theatre and the Civic Center Music Hall offer assisted listening devices for patrons in need. Visit the ticket window just prior to your performance for additional information. If you have any questions, please call Lyric’s Box Office at (405) 524-9312.
