Full-Time Costume Director & Designer
Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma is seeking a full-time Costume Director/Designer. The Costume Director/Designer is the head of the Costume Department for Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma and is responsible for the artistic leadership and administrative management of all costume, wardrobe, and hair/wig/makeup operations for the organization.
This position oversees the costume shop, wardrobe operations, and rental inventory systems; supervises all costume department staff and overhire personnel; manages departmental budgets and production timelines; and ensures successful execution of costume design, construction, maintenance, and
run-of-show needs for all productions.
The Costume Director/Designer will serve as Costume Designer for a minimum of two productions per season, as assigned. This is an on-site position requiring regular evening and weekend hours during rehearsals and production runs.

Internship Opportunities
Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma has many opportunities to learn and grow in a professional theatrical environment. We are seeking collaborative and positive summer interns seeking to grow hands on experience in the administrative side of the organization.
We partner with your university for college credit, or we offer unpaid internships that provide hands-on administrative experience in the Box Office, Marketing, Development and/or Front of House Management at a top rate regional theatre. In addition, we offer 2 free show tickets to each summer performance.
Customer experience is our passion, and you will gain insight into the professional theatre administrative experience. Candidates should be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
