First of all, thank you everyone who participated in our “Guess the Glass” contest back in March! Since we had such an awesome reaction to the game, you now have the chance to win a ticket to our upcoming summer musicals! Much like “Guess the Glass,” each of the games will correspond with the next show in line: TARZAN, THE KING AND I, THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES and BIG RIVER. First up is TARZAN and the name of the game is “Monkey Business.”
In order to win this contest, a picture of a monkey from a popular movie will be uploaded to Facebook and you must be the first to correctly identify what movie the famous monkey is from. The TARZAN contest will begin at 1 p.m. this Wednesday, June 19 and there will be 10 chances to win. If you don’t win, you can purchase tickets to TARZAN, running June 25-29 at the Civic Center Music Hall, online or by calling (405) 524-9312.
In case you’re wondering how it’s going to look, here’s an example.
It’s Abu from “Aladdin!” Easy, right? Of course, some monkeys may be less well-known than others, so now’s the time to brush up on your famous monkey knowledge.
Also like “Guess the Glass,” there are just a couple of rules. Second verse, same as the first.
1. You must currently “like” us on Facebook. It’s just one click. You can do it!
2. Each contestant is allowed one answer per picture.
3. The first person to correctly guess the movie the monkey is from (on their first attempt) wins that round!
As you could tell from the last game, some fans are very quick to answer. Make sure you’re on our Facebook page at 1 p.m. for a chance to win!
