Megan Mullally and Stephanie Hunt as Nancy & Beth

Can you believe it? Emmy Award-winning actress and Oklahoma City native Megan Mullally will return to Lyric’s stage for the first time since 2004 in MEGAN MULLALLY AND STEPHANIE HUNT ARE “NANCY AND BETH”. The actresses will perform their bawdy and edgy comedic rock show for one night only on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. at the Plaza Theatre.

“We are ecstatic to have Megan, who is one of our favorite Lyric alumni, at the Plaza Theatre with such a hip show,” said Michael Baron, Lyric’s artistic director. “She and Stephanie are absolutely hilarious together as they sing their original songs and put their own spin on rock classics. See it before they get run out of town!”

Mullally and Hunt first met while filming the independent movie “Somebody Up There Likes Me,” where they created their alter-ego singing duo, “NANCY AND BETH”, performing original, comedic songs. Within just three months of the act’s inception, “NANCY AND BETH” performed on Conan O’Brien’s talk show “Conan” as the musical guest. Mullally is best-known for her work as Karen Walker on the long-running TV show “Will and Grace”. Hunt has been featured on well-known TV shows such as “Friday Night Lights” and “Californication”.

MEGAN MULLALLY AND STEPHANIE HUNT ARE “NANCY AND BETH” is an R-rated show with explicit language and adult humor. Tickets start at $25 and go on sale Monday, January 13. Limited seating is available. To purchase tickets, call the Lyric box office at (405) 524-9312, visit LyricTheatreOKC.com or stop by Lyric’s box office at 1727 NW 16th Street.
