The ecstasy of success, the agony of defeat, and beautiful (or ridiculous) gowns to boot- it’s just plain fun to watch a beauty pageant. Lyric is very excited to bring back PAGEANT to the Plaza Theatre this January!

Don’t come to PAGEANT expecting it to be a typical night in the theatre. These beauty queens are like no pageant girls you’ve ever seen before. After watching them compete in swimsuit, talent, gown, and the spokesmodel categories for the title of Miss Glamouresse, the audience chooses the winner- and it changes every night.

Lyric presented this hilarious show back in 2004 and 2006. It was wildly popular during its previous runs, and we’ve been getting comments from patrons ever since asking “When will you produce PAGEANT again?” 2015 is the time, and we can’t wait to show you some sneak peeks from the production!

If you know you want to see PAGEANT right now, we have a deal for you! The only way you can currently purchase tickets to PAGEANT is through a season ticket package. Lyric offers several options, including a Plaza Theatre package which includes tickets to PAGEANT, MURDER FOR TWO, and BERNICE BOBS HER HAIR. Best of all, you are guaranteed the best seats at the best prices with these packages- up to 15% of individual ticket prices. Interested? Contact our box office for further informatinon- (405) 524-9312, or send us an e-mail

Because we’re excited and we just can’t hide it, we went back and found some of our favorite photos from our 2004 production. Enjoy the walk down memory lane!
