Lyric’s A Christmas Carol

Go on a magical journey with Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future!

Lyric Theatre will celebrate its diamond anniversary of A CHRISTMAS CAROL with an all-new outdoor production, whisking audiences away to a magical holiday village nestled in the heart of Oklahoma City.

The historic Harn Homestead, 1721 N. Lincoln Blvd., will be reimagined as the Victorian Era setting for Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley, magical spirits, and a host of unforgettable characters. Patrons will follow Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of transformation and redemption, as they are guided from scene to scene at the homestead.

Lyric’s Safety Guidelines

In order to offer our patrons the safest and most enjoyable theatrical experience possible, the following policies will be in effect through the remainder of the year:
— All patrons, staff and volunteers are required to wear masks, which must remain on their faces at all times.
— All audience members will have their temperature checked with a no-touch thermometer before entering the performance space. If a patron has a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, they will not be admitted. Tickets will be exchanged for a future performance, or a full refund will be issued.
— Lyric will provide hand sanitizing stations throughout the space for patron usage.
— All shows will be performed without intermissions.
— Designated entrances and exits will be marked.
— If you are feeling ill or someone in your household is ill, we ask that you please stay home. We will make arrangements for you to see another performance.

Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, we cannot guarantee that you and your guests will not become infected with COVID-19. By attending a performance, you and your guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure and agree not to hold Lyric Theatre; or any of its affiliates, employees, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.
For questions or concerns, please email us at info@LyricTheatreOKC.org

Inclement Weather Policy

While many people may dream of a “White Christmas,” we understand that inclement weather can put a damper on outdoor activities. As a result, the start time for Lyric’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Harn Homestead may be delayed/canceled or the performance interrupted due to weather conditions.

Lyric representatives will review weather conditions daily, and any delays or cancellations will be announced on the Lyric website and the official Lyric Theatre Facebook page.

Lyric may hold the start of the show for 30 to 45 minutes after the scheduled start time to allow for inclement weather. There will be no refunds or exchanges if Lyric does not officially cancel the show.

It is our desire to share this holiday tradition with you and your family and friends, and we’re thankful for your understanding if we are forced to adjust a performance for safety reasons or weather.
