JEREMY BENTON – AT LYRIC: MARY POPPINS (Bert). Jeremy recently played Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) in the National Tour of Irving Berlin’S WHITE CHRISTMAS. Before that he played Bob Hope in the L.A. premier of CAGNEY THE MUSICAL, for which he received an Astaire Award nomination for his Off-Broadway performance of the same role. He recently played Ray Bolger in the New York workshop of the new play MERMAN, and song and dance brother to Joan Crawford, Uncle Hal, in the new musical MOMMIE DEAREST. Favorite performances include Billy Lawlor in 42ND STREET (Broadway-opposite Shirley Jones), Billy Crocker in ANYTHING GOES (National Tour-opposite Rachel York), Wally Winston in ANIMAL CRACKERS (Denver Center/Tap Choreographer), Kenneth Gibson in CALL ME MADAM (Lyric Theatre-opposite Beth Leavel), and Fred Astaire in BACKWARDS IN HIGH HEELS: THE GINGER ROGERS MUSICAL (Original Cast).
