Arthur Lee Waldrip
Mr. Waldrip is an Alabama native and the oldest son of his deaf parents. Growing up as a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), American Sign Language and the Deaf Community has been his main cultural influence in many aspects of his hearing world. He graduated from the University of Montevollo in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Education for the Deaf and Hard of hearing and a Bachelor of Fine Arts: Ceramics, Mixed Media, and Printmaking.He teaches at the Oklahoma School for the Deaf in Sulphur, OK. He has taught various subjects such as: Drama, American Sign Language, and Deaf Culture History. Currently he teaches English, Yearbook, and Elementary Art.
