Everyone loves a good celebration, right? Sometimes it involves cake, or party hats, or streamers. But in almost all situations, it involves those who are your favorite people, and who have gotten you through all sorts of situations. This year, Lyric is celebrating with all of Oklahoma City- the city who has supported us through the past fifty years.
To celebrate the start of our Lyric at the Civic Center season, we’ll be posting daily for the next fifty days. These posts will culminate with the opening night of TARZAN at the Civic Center Music Hall June 25. They’ll cover a range of topics; from meet the staff, to pictures from past Lyric productions, to fun stories we’ve heard over the years. I hope you’ll join us on this fun journey- think of it as a virtual birthday party!- and maybe learn a little something about this incredible organization.
