Meet the brilliant cast of Lyric’s THE FANTASTICKS, running April 6 through 24 at Lyric’s Plaza Theatre! This cast brings together some of Oklahoma’s most talented performers as they spin a charming fable of falling in love… and out of it again.

Leading this timeless classic as The Narrator is Lyric favorite Mateja Govich. Mateja will be playing the role of Glenn in Lyric’s MANN… AND WIFE this February before continuing with Lyric in THE FANTASTICKS in April. Other Lyric favorites in the cast include Sheridan McMichael as The Mute and Thomas E. Cunningham as Hucklebee. You may remember Sheridan from his performance as Miss Great Plains in PAGEANT, and Tommy from LYRIC’S A CHRISTMAS CAROL or LES MISERABLES.

THE FANTASTICKS also features some of the incredibly talented students who attend school in our great state.

Oklahoma City University senior Arden Walker will star as Louisa (The Girl). Arden was seen in Lyric’s 2013 production of LES MISERABLES. Matt (The Boy) will be played by University of Central Oklahoma sophomore Nate Stukey. Oklahoma City University alum Hassan Nazari-Robati will take on the role of Mortimer. Hassan recently finished touring as Lumiere in the U.S. National Tour of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

Rounding out the cast are Oklahoma natives and Lyric veterans Brian Stockton as Bellomy and Terry Runnels as The Actor. Runnels has been seen in Lyric’s productions of OKLAHOMA!, MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT, and THE KING AND I. Stockton has recently been in Lyric’s 2013 production of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW and Lyric’s Musical Interactive touring program.

This cast is sure to create a beautiful night of timeless theatre, showing off the great talent Oklahoma City has to offer.
