Hi there, my name is Chantry Banks and I am a Development Officer here at Lyric Theatre.
I also handle Lyric’s social media accounts (which include Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; I hope you follow us on all three!). Plus, I am the staff member that helps bring Broadway & Brew to life every year.
What is Broadway & Brew? You don’t know already? It’s one of the most exciting events of spring, and it happens every year downtown at the Myriad Botanical Gardens. I know I’m biased, but it is a LOT OF FUN! Imagine a night full of local and regional beers waiting to be sipped and local food waiting to be nibbled. Throw in a great band (The Bread and Butter Band this year) and performances from upcoming Lyric shows and you’ve got a great evening…all taking place under the stars at one of the most beautiful parks in Oklahoma. What’s not to love?
A ton of works goes happens before the big night and there is no way Lyric can do it alone. Fortunately, an incredible committee gets together to make it all happen. Our chair this year is Seth Lewis, and this is the guy you want heading your event! We’re thrilled to have Seth on board.
When is Broadway & Brew? I guess I should have started with that. It is Thursday, May 11 at 6 pm. We have Early Bird tickets on sale now…a savings of $10 dollars per ticket.
