This week was a lot of fun. I have been working on the “Broadway Preshow Show with Wilson (The Intern)” most of the week and that has been fun seeing all of it come together. The Preshow will highlight Lyric’s Thelma Gaylord Academy students to show off the future of musical theatre. It will start 45 minutes before each show this summer in the south lobby, be there!
Yesterday we took a trip to OPUBCO to film a commercial for the upcoming season. I got to see my first glimpse of the costumes that Jeffery is putting together… They are awesome! I am so excited to see the entire stage filled with them. It was neat to get a small taste of how the film world works. It is so different than the theatre.
Camp Monster started this week so we have all become very familiar with all of the music in it. It’s such a great show for kids. Being an Academy student growing up, it makes me happy seeing all of these new students developing a love for theatre. These kids are working so hard to create a show that will wow the audience. I can’t wait to see the finished product of the show; it should be an absolute blast!
