Coming soon: another chance to win a free ticket to one of our summer shows! Next up is A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, and the name of the game is “Pixilated Posters”
Stephen Sondheim is a composer and lyricist who wrote A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC among other musicals. For this contest, a pixilated photo of a Sondheim musical (it will be an album cover, playbill cover, or poster from the original Broadway show) will be uploaded to Facebook, and in order to win, you must be the first to correctly identify the name of the musical. If the correct answer is not given within 5 minutes, we will move on to the next version of the picture (less pixilated.) If within 5 minutes after the third version of the photo is posted no one has provided the correct answer, we will move on to the next question. The A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC contest will begin at 1 p.m. today, June 20th and there will be 10 chances to win. If you don’t win or want to purchase additional tickets, you can purchase tickets to A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, running August 5-9 at the Civic Center Music Hall, by visiting LyricTheatreOKC.com or by calling (405) 524-9312.
In case you’re wondering how the contest will look, here’s an example:
It’s “Merrily We Roll Along!” Some will be more obscure than others, so now’s the time to brush up on your Sondheim musicals! This shows all three pixlilated options. The first one to appear will be the most blurry, then less and less if no one guesses correctly.
Also like all our Facebook contests, there are just a couple of rules.
1. You must currently “like” us on Facebook. It’s just one click. You can do it!
2. Each contestant is allowed one answer per picture.
3. The first person to correctly guess the title of the musical wins that round!
4. If/when you win a ticket, you may not win any more tickets through the Facebook contest to that show.
